Last week, I was deliberating on twitter about getting some new glasses, and thinking about buying them online. I’ve never bought frames online before, and always go to a high-street optician, because my prescription is massively wonky (-1.5 and +4.5), and I’m way over paranoid about how they will look on my face. After my tweeting, Pretavoir contacted me to ask if I’d like to try some new glasses from them. I chose the Ralph Lauren 6060 frames, and after emailing over my prescription, I picked up my lovely new glasses from the post office (my postman doesn’t come until lunchtime, so I always have to trek to the depot!!) not even a week later.
I am so pleased with them – I’m always overly paranoid that my stronger lens doesn’t match the lesser one, but Pretavoir have thinned it to match. The frames are lovely, and fit really well. They were packaged beautifully when I opened the box; the Ralph Lauren box was wrapped in black tissue paper to protect it from rattling around, and the glasses themselves were in a Ralph Lauren case inside the box. It was like opening a present!!
The communication I received from Sean at Pretavoir was faultless – I definitely will be recommending them, and ordering from them again!
