Round ‘Em Up : Blogger Resources

I decided that it’s been far too long since I did a Roundup, but I wanted to do one today with a little twist. I spent most of last night redesigning my blog (what do you think?!) and I know that a lot of bloggers had ‘blog resolutions’ this year, so I thought I would do a roundup of the best blog resources, tools and tips I’ve found.

My social media icons are from Carrie Loves. There are THIRTY different colours (including GLITTER!), and the set includes buttons for BlogLovin’, Chictopia, Etsy, Facebook, Email, Instragram, LinkedIn, Hello Cotton, Google+, Flickr, Pinterest, RSS, Society+, Stumble Upon, Tumblr, Twitter, Vimeo & YouTube. You can get them here.

I don’t have Photoshop, so I use PicMonkey if I need to tweak a picture, or Mosaic Maker for collages and Instagram posts.

August Empress is where my triangle-y background was from (I’m still using it on my blog button), and there are lots of other resources on this blog. There’s also a shop full of goodies.

Pugly Pixel is fantastic for inspiration, and if you have photoshop, there are freebies and tutorials to show you how to do cool stuff.

Elsie’s Tips for Bloggers and How to Start your Blog with a Bang articles are awesome, as is IFB’s Blog Tips & Tricks Pinterest.

Kyla Roma’s Finding Your Voice as a Blogger & Writing Your Best Blog was super helpful, and she’s also written Get your Blog Love Back for if you’re feeling a bit out of love with your blog.

Sign up to Bloglovin’ and Hello Cotton. If people can easily see new posts from you, they’ll check back more often, and it gives you a way of following other blogs too.

Finally, I’d also massively recommend taking part in one of the bloggers chats on Twitter if you don’t already. I’ve found so many great blogs through #lbloggers, and there are lots of different ones depending on what you blog and who for!

I hope that some of this has been helpful! If you use any of it, please ping me a comment, I’d love to hear what you think, and if you have any blogging resources that you think are amazing, let me know!
