A Day at the Zoo

Day two of our sistery weekend was a trip to the zoo! Β When I lived in Colchester, Sarah and I used to have a little zoo day a couple of times a year, but we haven’t been for a couple of years. There’ve been some changes since the last time we went (including some heart palpitations at the ticket machine, because the zoo is not cheap), but a lot of the animals had moved to nicer, bigger enclosures, which was nice. We’d somehow managed to time our visit to coincide with quite a few feeding times, too, so we got to see lots of animals! Yay!!

(Also, cute points for Sarah firstly for “I love animals” being the constant refrain of the day. Ha! I’ll make a vegetarian of her yet.)
